This Refund Policy outlines the terms for refunds on purchases made through DDay. By making a purchase, you agree to this policy.
1. Invitation Hosting Fees
1.1 General Policy
Hosting fees are generally non-refundable once the hosting period has begun and time has elapsed.
1.2 Exceptions
Refunds may be considered at DDay's sole discretion in the following cases:
- Before going live: If an invitation is canceled before it goes live, unused hosting time may be refunded
- Service outage: Significant service disruptions that prevented access to your invitation
- Technical errors: Payment processing errors or system failures on our end
1.3 Refund Requests
To request a refund for hosting fees, contact us at support@dday.io within 30 days of purchase with:
- Your order confirmation or receipt
- The reason for your refund request
- Your account email or phone number
2. Keepsakes & Physical Products
2.1 Custom Products
Physical products (prints, photobooks, merchandise) are custom-made to order using your photos and personalization. Due to the custom nature of these products:
All keepsake sales are final.
2.2 Eligible for Refund or Replacement
Refunds or replacements may be issued only for:
- Defective products: Items damaged during manufacturing or shipping
- Incorrect fulfillment: Wrong item shipped or missing items
- Print quality issues: Significant print defects not caused by image quality
2.3 Not Eligible for Refund
The following are not eligible for refunds:
- Photo or content errors approved by you during customization
- Low-resolution images that result in print quality issues
- Change of mind after order is placed
- Incorrect shipping address provided by you
- Products damaged after delivery due to mishandling
2.4 How to Report Issues
If you receive a defective or incorrect product, contact us within 14 days of delivery at support@dday.io with:
- Your order number
- Photos of the defective/incorrect item
- Description of the issue
3. Payment Disputes & Chargebacks
Important: Filing a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or payment provider without first contacting us may result in:
- Immediate suspension of your account
- Loss of access to your invitations and data
- Ineligibility for future refunds

4. Refund Processing
If your refund is approved:
- Processing time: Refunds are typically processed within 5-10 business days
- Original payment method: Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase
- Bank processing: Your bank may take an additional 5-10 business days to reflect the refund
